Our program is not chat based! We offer face to face video consultations with an experienced licensed healthcare practitioner - to better support you, allowing you to ask your questions in real time!
We need to determine if you meet certain criteria to be eligible for our program. Once you complete this questionnaire and meet all the requirements we can move on to the next step
Our program offers various treatment options. We need to do some blood tests to ensure that you can safely participate in our program. A nurse can come to your home for blood tests if needed—no waiting rooms or extra appointments
After the blood tests results are received you would have another virtual consultation with the nurse practitioner to put a plan into action and get you started on reaching your goals. Follow-ups are every 3 months after that for the first 6-12 months, and include requisitions for follow up lab work if needed, video consultation with a licensed healthcare practitioner, and prescription renewal or adjustments (if needed)
Our program uses proven medications like semaglutide (Ozempic®/Wegovy®) to help you lose weight by naturally reducing appetite and controlling cravings—without extreme diets or unrealistic exercise plans. Read more below to understand how these medications work
If you’ve struggled with willpower or yo-yo dieting, this program can help reset your hunger signals so you feel satisfied with smaller portions and fewer cravings.
Clients often report lower blood pressure, better blood sugar control, improved sleep, and more energy—making everyday life feel easier and allowing them to do the things they love.

Obesity is a chronic health condition associated with having excess body fat and is a leading cause of serious health conditions such as diabetes, high blood pressure, heart disease, stroke, arthritis and cancer.
Weight gain and difficulty losing weight is due to a combination of factors, such as genetics, diet, lifestyle habits, and even certain medical conditions or medications.
As per the current guidelines, weight loss medications are approved for use in people with a BMI above 30 (obese), or those with a BMI above 27 (overweight) that also have at least one diagnosed weight related condition (high blood pressure, heart disease, diabetes, or high cholesterol/hyperlipidemia).
Medications for weight loss are meant to be used and combined with lifestyle modification (exercise and a healthy balanced diet).
If an individual does not make lifestyle changes, the results will typically be limited, and there will be a higher chance of regaining the weight.
Medications used for weight loss (GLP-1 receptor agonists) stimulate the secretion of insulin (regulates blood sugar levels), suppress a hormone called glucagon (which can reduce hunger), and increase feelings of fullness (by delaying the emptying of the stomach).
Long term lifestyle changes can lead to sustained weight loss and improvements in overall metabolic health. It is often useful to work with a nutritionist, kinesiologist or physical trainer, or psychologist, depending on your individual needs (*these professionals are not provided by Genexia Health.)
