Our nurses will examine your ears with a camera in the comfort and convenience of your home, office or location of your choice. They will then provide the appropriate intervention allowing you to rest in total peace of mind knowing that your ears are being properly cared for.
Earwax is a natural and normal bodily secretion, but sometimes it can build up and lead to a clogged ear canal. If you have a lot of earwax, you may experience symptoms such as earache, itchiness, a feeling of fullness in the ear, difficulty hearing, or a ringing in the ear.
The nurses at Genexia can come to evaluate your ears and determine if you have a buildup of earwax. We use an otoscope with a camera, so you can see it too (only if you want to !). All of our nurses have extra certifications to ensure your ears are cleaned gently, effectively and safely.
If the nurse determines that you do have earwax buildup, they can clean your ears for you (some conditions apply) This is a safe and simple procedure, called ear irrigation, that can be done in the comfort of your own home. The nurse will use specialized tools to gently remove the earwax, and they will also provide you with instructions on how to prevent earwax buildup in the future.
We recommend putting three drops of mineral oil in each ear three times a day for the three days leading up to your appointment!
